It’s BYOB, which means the tour is only as good as what you packed.
Full-size is fine — there's room. Ice is the thing people forget, and there's no freezer on the bike.
Cans, plastic bottles and resealable containers only. Absolutely no glass — not bottles, not glasses, not the nice tumblers. This is the one rule we don't bend on.
Two hours of pedaling in Houston heat with a cooler full of beer goes badly if nobody brought water.
Pub-friendly things that survive being carried. Snacks travel better than anything that needs a plate.
The stereo pairs with any Bluetooth device. Decide who's in charge before you get on, or your driver will run it.
Banners, balloons, sashes, cake. Bring it, put it up, take it with you at the end.
The waiver. Everybody riding signs one. Do it online beforehand and you save fifteen minutes standing in a parking lot — fifteen minutes of your own two hours.
ID. Every passenger has to be 21 or over and drivers check. Bars will check again.
Shoes you can pedal in. Nobody expects trainers, but two hours is longer than it sounds in heels. Plenty of people bring a spare pair and swap.
Cash for the bar stops. The tour is BYOB but the bars aren't. If you're stopping for three rounds, that's a separate budget.
A phone charger. Whoever's running the stereo is also running their battery down for two hours.
Those are the only two absolutes. A broken bottle on a moving bike full of people in open-toed shoes is the one thing that reliably ends a night early, and the 21+ rule has no exceptions because this is an open-container vehicle.
Everything else is negotiable. Ask us if you're not sure about something.
